Applications of Soda Blasting
Soda blasting is an extremely effective method for cleaning and removing paint, especially when one or more of the following factors are essential:
- No alteration to the surface is allowed, making other blasting media unsuitable.
- The softness of the soda blasting media prevents damage to surrounding rotating or hydraulic parts.
- Because ARMEX is fully water-soluble, no residues are left behind in engines or process installations.
Soda blasting is therefore widely used for cleaning industrial installations, molds, critical engine parts, and anilox rolls (flexo). It is also an effective method for fire damage salvage.
