At Gritco, we are committed to handling personal data responsibly. We only process your data as permitted within the Dutch General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). In this privacy statement, we explain how we do this.
We use the data we receive from you only for the intended purpose. If necessary, we will only share your data with one of our official dealers to answer your enquiry, but we will never pass on your data to third parties without your consent.
As a client of Gritco, in addition to general company data, we also store contact details of your employees, such as name, e-mail address, phone number and position. We need this data for as long as you are our client. After the end of the collaboration, this data may be retained, for example if it is linked to a contract, invoice or other official document.
When you call or e-mail us, we need certain data from you in order to help you. We store this data, such as your name, company name, e-mail address and/or telephone number, and may share it with one of our dealers to answer your question or contact you again. Once your query has been dealt with, this data will be deleted by us. Should our contact lead to a (possible) order, the policy described under 'Clients' applies.
In addition to e-mail and telephone, you can fill in various forms on our website to request information or advice. In these forms, we ask for the name of your organisation, your own name, telephone number and e-mail address. We or one of our dealers will then contact you. Your organisation's name, your name and your e-mail address will be added to our mailing list for newsletters. Should our contact lead to a (possible) order, the policy described under 'Clients' applies.
Several times a year, we send newsletters with information about our work, products, developments in our field and news we think is worth sharing. You will receive our newsletter if you have signed up for it or contacted us via one of our website forms. When you receive and open our newsletter, we also record your interactions to keep the content of our newsletters as relevant as possible.

We monitor visits to our website via Google Analytics. This is done in a privacy-friendly way, whereby website visits are recorded anonymously. We also use Google Analytics' advertising capabilities to better reach our target audience. Google ad cookies are used for this purpose, enabling functions such as remarketing in the Google Display Network.
When we no longer need your data, we delete it from our systems. Below is an overview of the main retention periods:
We take recommended security measures to protect our systems. Should a data breach occur despite our efforts, or if we suspect that there was a high probability of one, we inform all those involved as soon as possible.
